An RN or LVN who violates the state laws and issuances from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) should seek proper help from a Pasadena nurse attorney.  Doing so could make or break their cases. As a matter of fact, the license can be suspended or revoked if not defended properly.

On or about June 3, 2019, and June 4, 2019, while employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a medical facility in Pasadena, the LVN failed to administer gastrostomy tube feedings to a patient as ordered by the physician in that the three (3) unopened formula containers were found in the trash each day. Her conduct was likely to injure the patient from the insufficient nutritional intake.

Subsequently, the LVN falsely documented the administration of gastrostomy tube feedings in the medical record of a patient. Her conduct was deceptive and created an inaccurate medical record.

On or about June 22, 2019, through June 24, 2019, the same LVN failed to catheterize the same patient every six (6) hours, as ordered by the physician in that the two (2) unused catheter kits were found in the trash. Her conduct was likely to injure the patient in that failure of physician orders could have resulted in non-efficacious treatment.

Subsequently, she failed to document urinary output in the medical record of the patient. Her conduct created an inaccurate and/or incomplete medical record.

Because of the incident, the LVN was disciplined and suspended by the Board of Nursing. It’s because she failed to hire a good nurse attorney for the case, which is why her defense was not matched with the evidence that the Board possesses.
