An RN or LVN who violates the state laws and issuances from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) should seek proper help from a Fort Worth nurse attorney.  Doing so could make or break their cases. As a matter of fact, the license can be suspended or revoked if not defended properly.

On or about August 1 4, 2007, an RN was required to successfully complete the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses (TPAPN) through an Order of the Board. The RN successfully completed the terms of this Order on October 19, 2009.

On or about September 11, 2018, the RN’s license to practice nursing in the State of Texas was Suspended through an Order of the Board, which also approved the RN’s petition for APRN licensure upon meeting the requirements for staying the Suspension. The RN has not met the requirements for staying the Suspension.

On or about January 14, 2019, an RN entered a plea of Guilty to EXPLOITATION OF CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED, 3rd Degree Felony offense committed on June 1, 2018. As a result of the plea, the proceedings against the RN were deferred without entering an adjudication of Guilt, and the RN was placed on probation for a period of five (5) years and ordered to pay a fine and court costs. On May 5, 2021, the RN was discharged from probation.

In regards to the incident,  the RN states this charge resulted from her relapse into addiction. All terms of the probation were completed and she was discharged from probation. The RN is in touch with her case manager with the Board to complete the suspension part of her enforced suspension to show one (1) year of sobriety.

Because of the incident, the LVN was disciplined and suspended by the Board of Nursing. It’s because she failed to hire a good Fort Worth nurse attorney for the case, which is why her defense was not matched with the evidence that the Board possesses.
